29 Juli 2020 Roh Kudus, Firman, dan Kesaksian

Apa sampai sekarang saya 'makan' masih 'disuapi'? atau sudah 'dewasa' dan sudah bisa 'makan' sendiri firmanNYA? (masa jadi 'bayi' terus ya.. ?)

Tahukah saya, TUHAN mau saya menggali sendiri kitab suci karena diamarkan ada banyak mesias2 & nabi2 palsu di akhir zaman ini?

Kalimat: “Dengan demikian kami makin diteguhkan oleh firman yang telah disampaikan oleh para nabi. Alangkah baiknya kalau kamu memperhatikannya sama seperti memperhatikan pelita yang bercahaya di tempat yang gelap sampai fajar menyingsing dan bintang timur terbit bersinar di dalam hatimu. Yang terutama harus kamu ketahui, ialah bahwa nubuat-nubuat dalam Kitab Suci tidak boleh ditafsirkan menurut kehendak sendiri, sebab tidak pernah nubuat dihasilkan oleh kehendak manusia, tetapi oleh dorongan Roh Kudus orang-orang berbicara atas nama Allah” 2 Petrus 1: 19-21. {3MR 88.1}

Kita melihat pentingnya setiap orang memiliki pemahaman akan Alkitab. Mungkin ada orang yang akan memberi tahu kita tentang hal-hal yang terkandung dalam Firman Allah, tetapi itu tidak akan memenuhi persyaratan. 

Kita harus menggali sendiri kitab suci. 

Ada poin-poin khusus yang harus kita pahami sehubungan dengan waktu kita sendiri.  Kita hidup di zaman kesalahan dan bid'ah di setiap sisi. 

Kristus telah memberi tahu kita bahwa “Mesias-mesias palsu dan nabi-nabi palsu akan muncul dan mereka akan mengadakan tanda-tanda yang dahsyat dan mujizat-mujizat, sehingga sekiranya mungkin, mereka menyesatkan orang-orang pilihan juga.” Matius 24:24. 

Guru-guru yang dibicarakan oleh Kristus ini akan datang dengan pakaian domba, dan akan menipu orang-orang dengan ajaran sesat mereka, dan ini semakin kita lihat saat kita semakin mendekati akhir zaman. Oleh karena itu, kita perlu menyelidiki sendiri Alkitab dan mempelajari isinya.

We see and feel the importance of each having an understanding of the Scriptures. There may be those who will tell us of the things contained in the Word of God, but that will not meet the requirements. We must search the Scriptures for ourselves. There are special points that we must understand pertaining to our own time. We are living in an age of error and heresy on every hand. Christ has told us that “there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, who shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” Matthew 24:24. These teachers spoken of by Christ will come in sheep’s clothing, and will delude the people with their heresies, and this we shall see more and more as we draw nearer the end. Consequently it is of the greatest necessity that we search the Scriptures for ourselves, and learn their contents. {3MR 88.2}
